Bringing an umbrella is always good advice at Wimbledon but never more so than this year, as Centre Court undergoes a dramatic redevelopment.
The most famous tennis court in the world will be without cover for the first time since it was opened in the 1920s.
It's all part of the grand plan to take Wimbledon into the future with a retractable translucent roof, and an increased capacity from 13,800 spectators to 15,000, in time for the 2009 championships.
Since play ended on 9 July last year, the East Stand has been demolished and the existing roof removed, while an extra six rows of terracing have been completed.
"It will be the only time since 1922 there hasn't been a roof at all," said Wimbledon chief executive Ian Ritchie. "It will be very different both to play and to visit as a spectator."
